Moving In

Closing Day
You’re almost there! If you’ve reached this point, it’s nearly time to celebrate—but there are just a few final steps to take care of before we can officially hand over the keys.
Final Walk-Through Inspection
Typically scheduled a few days before closing, the final walk-through is more of a formality, but still an important one. You’ll revisit the property to ensure everything is in the same condition as when you last saw it. This includes checking that all agreed-upon items are still present, systems and appliances are in working order, and no unwanted belongings have been left behind.
Home Services & Utilities
To make your move-in smooth, Ashley and her transaction manager will provide a helpful list of contacts for setting up your utilities and home services. You’ll want to arrange for activation shortly after closing.
Closing
Escrow will prepare and distribute a final settlement statement, which outlines all financial details of the transaction. Both you and the seller will review and sign to confirm its accuracy.
If you’re financing the purchase, you’ll also sign the required loan documents.
If you’re bringing funds to closing, you can choose to wire the funds electronically or bring a certified check in the amount specified.
If you’re unable to attend the closing in person, let us know as early as possible—remote arrangements can often be made.
Finally, the seller will deliver all property keys and any important documents at closing so you’re fully ready to step into your new home.
Almost there—congratulations are just around the corner!
